1,004
The Mesabi Miner is a 1,004 foot ship, that we've seen come into Duluth and leave Duluth on different occasions. We happened to catch it from the balcony of our hotel room. What an amazing site! When it is to the end of the pier the back of the ship is underneath the lift bridge.

New Teeth!
Mimi's new 'do
Amelia has been begging us to cut her hair off for the last couple of months. At first neither of us really wanted to cut it, we both love her curls when it's long. But after many morning battles to comb it and put it up in a pony tail so it is out of her face, Kevin and I decided it was time for it to go! We were going to have our friend Katie cut it, but our schedule and her work schedule never worked out and since we saw my sister over the weekend, we had "Auntie Amber" cut Amelia's hair. It looks so cute now, I just love it and hopefully mornings will go smoother!

FireSPIGHTER Paul
Paul is fire truck obsessed. Or I should say, obsessed with everything related to being a fire fighter or as Paul calls himself a "FireSPIGHTER". We took these pictures last weekend for his birthday invites, he loved being able to throw on his fire coat (raincoat) and fire boots (rain boots) to take his pictures, along with daddy's fire helmet!

Winter in October?!
October 12, 2009=Snow in Minnesota! Yikes! I'm not ready for snow yet. We also had snow when we woke up on Saturday morning. After we took Amelia to school today, Paul insisted on playing in the snow and informed me that he loves to eat snow!

Cardiologist Follow-Up
We had Addie's follow-up with the pediatric cardiologist this morning. We first saw the cardiologist at the MN Children's Heart Clinic six months ago when our doctor referred us there for Adeline's heart murmur. We received good news at the appointment. We were there for all of about twenty minutes. The doctor listened to Addie's heart, and all sounded good. He said there was maybe still one hole, but it will most likely close up and that all is okay. We don't have to go back to the cardiologist unless we have any concerns. We love good news!
