Brusha, Brusha, Brusha...

. After dinner I gave all three kids a bath. After Amelia and Paul got out of the bath, I brushed their teeth right away and then we headed in to get pj's on everyone and I asked Amelia and Paul to clean up the living room while I got Addie ready for bed. I got her ready, and went out to check on Addie and I came back and found her standing patiently on the bathroom stool, pointing to the medicine cabinet, she needed her tooth brush. So I got it down, brushed her teeth and then she likes to brush her teeth herself, I think she's 1 going on 15! She stood here for about 10 minutes "brushing" her teeth. I can't believe how much she is growing up.

Meet Paul's Best Friends...

Buzz and Woody from Toy Story are Paul's best friends. He hauls them everywhere, he sleeps with them and they go to daycare EVERDAY, he even begs us to take them to church, promises they won't make any noise during church, something tells me they won't hold true to that promise! As both of them talk. Woody has a pull-string (I got him as a b-day gift in HS) and Buzz has several buttons to push that make noise as well. Today he even proclaimed that he wasn't Paul, that his name is Buzz Lightyear!

Adeline and Amelia's birthday party...

Last weekend we had Amelia and Adeline's birthday party. Even thought Amelia's b-day is still a few weeks away and happens to fall on Palm Sunday, we decided that it was easier to do a joint birthday party for the girls, especially with everyone living an hour or more away from us, traveling our direction twice in a month can be kind of hard for my family since they all live 3+ hours away. The party went great, we did a lady bug theme with hot pink and lime green for colors, everything looked great, I am kicking myself for not taking pictures of the decorations prior to the party starting, guess I was too distracted to remember!

The weekend prior to the party I had prepared 4 pans of lasagna for the party, I assembled them all and froze them until Saturday morning. It was a it tedious, but it was great in the long run as I had a lot less to prepare the days leading up to the party. I also buttered and seasoned 6 loaves of french bread, wrapped it all in foil and froze it. So now I think I may be able to make a few lasagnas to freeze before the baby arrives in September.

The lasagna and bread seemed to be a hit. Our moms, grandmas, etc filled in with salads and that worked great. I think everyone enjoyed the meal and the fellowship. I honestly don't know where we would have put everyone, had everyone we invited shown up. Our dining room table was full, our living room was full, kitchen table was full and several people were standing in the laundry room, we could have probably put a table up in there too for extra seating. The girls got some great gifts, lots of really nice clothes, they are going to be the best dressed girls I know this spring and summer!
