Twins Game
On July 5th, we went to our first Twins game at Target field with my family. It was the first time all of us cousins had been together at the same time in a few years. My cousin Luke was home on leave from Afghanistan so my Aunt and Grandma planned this outing for the whole fam! We opted not to bring our kids to the game, we really enjoyed ourselves and Target field is beautiful!

Look Mom! No training wheels!!
Paul has been riding his smaller bike all summer with only one training wheel and he rode it for about a week without training wheels until he demanded that one be put back on. Last night he decided to try out his bigger bike to see if he could ride without training wheels. He did it and we're so excited for him!Now to get Amelia more interested in even riding her bike!

4th of July...
We spent quite a bit of time at the cabin before heading home on the 4th of July, we headed home around bedtime so that the kids and Kevin could sleep on the way home. Kev had to get up at 4:00 to drive bus on Tuesday morning, so I was the driver, I got a coffee when we got gas and there was just enough traffic on the road to keep me alert and focused!

Fourth of July Weekend, part 1
We spent the 4th of July Weekend at my Grandparents cabin. My cousin Luke was home on leave from Afghanistan, so it was the perfect time for the whole family to get together. The kids had a BLAST up there, we couldn't keep them away from the docks, Paul was in heaven fishing, as was Adeline. Amelia declared that she is "not a fishergirl, she's a swimmer." We spent as much time on the lake as possible between the pontoon and our little speed boat. The traffic getting up there was horrendous, but once we got there we were finally able to relax, well there was a little work involved at the cabin for Kevin, they were working on putting the new siding on it this year after they put a new garage on the cabin last summer. The cabin was a foreclosure so it needed a little TLC and updating. I think it's by far one of my favorite places! We're taking a family vacation there with our friends Ryan and Katie at the beginning of August and we're thankful for my Grandparents for allowing us to use the cabin!
I'm splitting this weekend into a couple of posts because I took a TON of pictures last weekend!
