newest addition....

Here is the newest addition to our family...

Introducing Charlie (goldfish) and Rosie (white with a orange head). We gave Addie the pink fish tank and fish for her birthday present. Paul had gotten a blue tank like this for his birthday and ever since then Addie has been saying "Fishie MY ROOM!", so we new just what to get her for her birthday. Addie's fish is Charlie, named after her favorite show on the Disney Channel "Good Luck Charlie". And last weekend we took Amelia to PetSmart to pick out her own fish and she picked the white one with the orange head...though it looks silver here! And she named hers Rosie. Paul also got a new fish to give Fishie another brother. He had gotten a new fish about a month ago and 2 weeks ago Stuark went onto bigger and better places. We found him stuck to the filter before church a couple weeks ago. So he also got a new fish last week because Fishie was really sad without Stuark, so he got a new fish and named it...you guessed it...Stuark. Tomorrow I'll have to get a picture of Pauly's brothers.

Addie Jail

This is what we have to do to keep Adeline in her crib. She started escaping a week before Stella arrived and we've been using the crib tent ever since then. If we didn't have it, she'd probably never sleep. I snapped this picture after her nap the other day because the look on her face cracked me up when I went in to get her up! We originally bought it when Paul was about 14 months old or so because he started crawling out of his crib and would run around his room in the pitch black at midnight. It's been a life saver. Hopefully it'll last through Adeline so that if we need it for Stella we have it! Might have to ship it to my mom to be reinforced after Addie is done with it!

Rearranged...again

We did some more room swapping...again. This time we did some major swapping and it's still a work in progress, we moved the girls to our bedroom, we moved to Stella's room and Stella to the girls new-old room formerly known as our den, her room will also be the daycare room and we'll re-evaluate in a year or so. The girls stuff actually fits better in our room than it did in the den. We haven't decorated it yet and we have curtains for their windows that my mom is going to hem and my step-dad is making them new curtain rods for their bedroom as well. So it's still a work in progress, but it'll work. And the three girls will share the closet for now.

I will have to post more pictures later, once we finish all of our projects...someday! I still need pictures of Paul's new room and our guest bedroom!

New Coat

Last week Adeline received a birthday present in the mail from my aunt and uncle and it was this super cute Columbia windbreaker, she needed to put it on as soon as she opened it and she looks absolutely adorable in it, now if the weather would get nice enough so she can actually wear it, we'll be set! She wore it until nap time when I talked her out of it! She is my coat obsessed child, she will pull out a sweatshirt and say it's a coat and want it on because "Mommy, I cold" and then she needs them zipped all the way up to her neck! So this definitely was the perfect birthday gift!

PS-To those of you who gave Adeline a birthday gift or sent her a card with a gift, etc. I haven't forgotten about you, life has been a bit crazy these days and I haven't had a chance to write her thank you's. Soon. I promise.

Addie is wearing what she calls her "bobot shirt" not really sure what a bobot is, considering her shirt has a guitar on it!

Jumping is tough work

Last Friday I decided to pull out the Jumperoo for Stella, turns out, she LOVES it. These pictures are from her first time trying it out, apparently jumping wears her out because after about 20 minutes this is how I found her. It was too cute to not snap a picture or six!

PS-I gave up Facebook for Lent, so hopefully you'll be seeing a whole lot more posts on here!

Stella Kate

I gave Stella rice cereal for the first time tonight. At her four month check-up our doctor said we could wait until 6 months to start baby foods because she was gaining weight just fine, so I thought since she's almost 6 months that I'd try out rice cereal tonight. She did great with it, ate everything I had in the bowl for her. Much better than any of the other kids ever did with baby food. Amelia would absolutely refuse baby cereal, even when it was mixed with fruit! Paul and Adeline did a little bit better with it, but I'd say Stella did the best so far!
