August in pictures...

ince I'm so far behind in blogging, I thought I could give you a quick update with these pictures, I think they are all off my cell phone, I need to upload the pictures off my camera someday soon! So this will have to work for now! We've been having a GREAT summer, can't believe it's almost over!

We got a huge load of sand from a friend, the kids LOVE it!

We still need to build a perimeter around the swingset, but the kids are loving the load of sand, and we've been told there is more where it came from, so if we need more, we can get it! We need to get that heap moved around a bit.

I can not believe this little lady is going to be ONE next Friday, where did the time go?! She has such a bright and bubbly personality. She is trying hard to walk, she can stand up without holding onto things. I'm busy working on planning her birthday party, hard to believe she's not going to be an infant much longer and soon will be a toddler. Ready or not, here it comes!

Little Ladies Addie, Kaelyn and Rylee

These are Addie's best buds! These three were born within 9 days of each other. Addie was first, followed by Rylee and then Kaelyn. I love this picture of the three of them, they are getting so big! Crazy to think they are 2-1/2 and that a little over 3 years ago, Kelly, Megan and I all found out within a week of each other that we were pregnant and all of our due dates were within 7 days!

I promise there will be more blog posts coming soon! After all school starts next week and there will be a little more time in my life (I hope!)

Cabin Vacation

It's pretty obvious that I haven't been good about blogging this summer, but I want to get better about that, we've just been very busy. These pictures are form when we took a vacation with our friends Ryan, Katie, Taylor and Clare at the beginning of August. We spent 5 days at my Grandparents cabin. We all had a blast, not sure who had more fun the kids or the parents. The kids all got along great, 6 kids, ages 11 months-8 years, 4 girls and 2 boys. The kids spent their days fishing and swimming, it was very rare for them to be out of their swimsuits and sometimes we had to coax them out of them at the end of the day. The weather was perfect, we only had rain once and it was first thing in the morning and by noon it was cleared off. Surprisingly I didn't take very many pictures, but these are a few of what I did get. I'm kicking myself for not getting a picture of all six kids together.

Twins Game

On July 5th, we went to our first Twins game at Target field with my family. It was the first time all of us cousins had been together at the same time in a few years. My cousin Luke was home on leave from Afghanistan so my Aunt and Grandma planned this outing for the whole fam! We opted not to bring our kids to the game, we really enjoyed ourselves and Target field is beautiful!
