"I holda Baby Stella!"
Addie LOVES to hold Stella. Of course we have our days where she isn't real nice to her, but for the most part she loves her up! I love this picture! She always wants to "Holda Baby Stella" and "Kicky (kiss) Baby Stella"

Love this girl
Addie got this shopping cart for Christmas and I think it must be one of her favorite gifts, she plays with it everyday, she usually throws a purse over her shoulder, throws on a hat and puts her baby in the cart and tells me she's going shopping. "See ya! See ya later mom!" And off she goes around the house pushing her shopping cart!

Fadder Amen!
In case you haven't noticed in my previous posts, Adeline has developed quite the personality. The other night I was unloading the dishwasher while dinner was cooking and she decided to help. She stands on the door and grabs stuff out for me. We had some mugs in the dishwasher that we keep in the freezer for pop and the bottoms of them have wells that always catch extra water in them. While she was helping me, she started blessing herself, I guess she really does pay attention in church! As Catholics, we bless ourselves upon entering church with holy water by making the sign of the cross. And when we prayer etc, we say "In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Amen" Well Addie's take on it is "Fadder! Amen!" And she was blessing herself in the dishwasher. She cracks me up!

The Girls' New Bedroom
I had a few extra minutes while everyone is napping, so I thought I'd post pictures of the girls' new bedroom. I searched to see if I had any pictures of it when it was our den/office, but it doesn't appear that I do. Where the girls' bed is now, use to be where our futon was. Where the crib is, is where our desk sat. And the wall that their dresser is on was the big Ikea cube and another cabinet thing that I kept office and craft supplies in.
I need to get some underbed storage bins to organize some toys under there, so it doesn't look messy! I also want to get them this light fixture from Ikea for their bedroom.
I love how this purple turned out on the wall. It's very pretty and this picture doesn't do it justice! I need to put stuff up on their walls yet.
Looking in from the door. I have new curtains to replace the valances, I need my mom to shorten them for me this weekend for me.
I have bedding picked out at Ikea that I want to get the girls for their bunk beds so they both match. It's the same pattern as their curtains, but a larger print. So I may have to put that on their birthday lists! I found fun nightlight/lamps too that we want to get to hang by each bunk.
Coming soon...pictures of Paul's new bedroom.

4 months already...
Stella had her four month check up this morning, Kevin took her so I could keep the other kids at home and get a few things done too. It's too chaotic taking them all to the doctors office, there is only so long you can keep Adeline entertained, so it was just easier this way. She had 4 vaccinations, plus an oral rotavirus vaccination. Kevin said she did great with her shots and barely cried. She was great all day, never fussy, and never ran a temp, I never gave her Tylenol once today, which usually after the kids' shots I do give them. We don't go back again until she's 6 months old.

Playing Duplos with Pauly
One of Paul's all-time favorite toys is his Lego Duplos. They are basically big Legos and perfect for the under 6 crowd. To me regular Legos seem way to complex and difficult until they are about 10, even though according to the Lego, they start at age 6 and up. Amelia has some pink Legos and she likes to play with them, but Kevin and I have to build everything for her if she wants it to look like the pictures. With Duplos, they are chunky and easy for them to snap together and separate themselves. Paul can play with them for HOURS and it always amazes us the things he comes up with. He has a couple of the basic sets, the fire station and a couple Toy Story 3 sets and one Cars set. The other day we cashed in his piggy bank so he could order some more Duplos. He had asked before Christmas if he could take his piggy bank to the bank to get some more toys. I told him he needed to wait until after Christmas to see what he gets for toys before we buy more toys. Well he held me to my promise! The little stinker had $53.89 in change and $17 cash in his piggy bank. Plus $25 he got for Christmas, so he was able to get a lot of new Duplos sets. We ordered 4 new sets and a 15x15 base plates to build more creations on. His favorite thing to build these days is a gas station and a car wash, he can build it 4 times a day and it looks different every time. The kid has quite the imagination on him!

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year everyone, 2011 is going to be a great year, I can already feel it!
We had a fun New Years Eve, we went to our friend Ryan and Katie's (Stella's Godparents) house for fondue. There were 8 adults and 11 kids...can we say out numbered? We had a great time and all of the kids were going strong all night! Adeline finally crashed at 1:30 am. Paul and Amelia were still awake at 2:00 am when we left their house. Today we just took it easy and we all wore our "comfies". Our friends Randi and Scott and their children were going to come over for the day so we could do our Christmas together. Randi is Addie's Godmother and I'm their son Jameson's Godmother. Unfortunately the weather here wasn't the greatest and the wind was blowing pretty strong, so after setting out to drive over here, they live about an hour away Randi called and asked if we'd mind if we could reschedule because of the weather. So sooner or later we'll find a date to get together again!
I had put two pork roasts in the crock-pot with BBQ sauce to make bbq pork sandwiches, we weren't sure when we'd eat all that pork up, so we told Ryan, Katie and the kids and our friends Pat, Karissa and their 3 kids to come over for dinner since I already had the pork ready to eat. So all of the kids got to run and play for the second night in a row and our kids were sound asleep as soon as we put them to bed!
These are the only pictures we got of the kids, no Pauly or Addie.
